Parity
Be honest
When Maximo wins
Maximo wins when your team is already trained on it, your integrator is contractually locked in, and the change-management cost of moving outweighs the modernisation gain. It is a serious platform with serious users, and we respect that.
And then
When NextEAM wins
NextEAM wins when you need modern UX, AI built into the workflow rather than bolted on, deployment in months instead of years, and KSA-sovereign hosting — at roughly a third of the licensing cost.
Migration
Moving from Maximo to NextEAM
Most Maximo migrations are 4–8 weeks for a phased cutover. We import asset registry, work-order history, PM schedules, and spare-parts catalog via reference scripts. Maximo can keep running in read-only mode during transition.
