Accessibility statement
NextEAM is built for everyone who keeps assets running, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or right-to-left Arabic.
Where we stand
Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. NextEAM partially conforms: it supports every applicable Level A and AA criterion except one. A video's audio description is read aloud by your screen reader from a text track; it is not yet recorded into the video's sound.
What works today
- Every function works from the keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- Pages use headings, landmarks and labelled controls, and status messages are announced.
- Text resizes to 200% and pages reflow at phone width.
- Text and controls meet WCAG AA contrast in light and dark mode.
- Arabic pages read right to left, and English names inside them are marked as English.
- Form errors are named in text, next to the field and in a summary.
- Training videos carry captions, a transcript and audio description in English and Arabic, and voice notes carry a transcript.
Known limitations
- Audio description is a text track that your screen reader reads aloud. It is not yet recorded into the video's own sound, so a viewer without a screen reader does not hear it.
- Exported files (PDF reports, Excel and CSV) have not been assessed yet.
- The native mobile field app is not covered. The field web app is.
How we test
Automated checks run on every page in English and Arabic, on desktop and phone, in light and dark mode. Each WCAG criterion is also reviewed by hand, and tests in every build stop a fixed problem from coming back.
Accessibility Conformance Report
Our report, based on VPAT 2.5 (WCAG 2.2 edition), lists every criterion with its result and the reason. Ask us for a copy.
Tell us about a barrier
If something in NextEAM stops you from doing your work, write to us. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will tell you what we will change.
